Kathryn West is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from LeTourneau University and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and School Counseling from LeTourneau University. In addition, Kathryn is a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University.
Kathryn’s clinical experience includes working with individuals who have suffered various forms of trauma, depression and/or anxiety, and exhibit behavioral issues impacting family dynamics, academic achievement, and/or life achievement. Kathryn utilizes strong relationships centered on nurture and trust to help the individual reach their highest potential. Kathryn believes in addressing the individual as a whole to ensure positive, lasting change.
Kathryn is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
and is accepting clients ages 4 and up.

RATES & POLICIES
An initial assessment lasting 50 minutes is required for each new client and is billed at a rate of $165.00 for the one time session.
Ongoing counseling sessions & eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) sessions last 50 minutes and are
billed at the rate of $140.00 per session.
Court ordered counseling requires an initial assessment of $200 and lasts 50 minutes.
Ongoing court ordered counseling sessions are 50 minutes long and are billed at a rate of $175 per session.
You may pay by Cash, Debit, or Credit
at the beginning of your session or prior to your session through the online portal.
Cancellations are required to be completed 24 hours prior to the set appointment. Should an individual not cancel 24 hours prior
to the appointment and/or not show up, they will be billed for the full cost of the appointment.
A detailed bill/superbill will be made available upon request for insurance reimbursement.
KLW Counseling follows the schedule of Aledo ISD in the event of inclement weather.
In the event of inclement weather or delayed start of school, sessions will be moved to Telehealth for that timeframe.
An email with a link to video session will be sent prior to your scheduled time.
Clients will be responsible for being on time for the session and will be billed for the full session should they
fail to cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the session.
