KLW COUNSELING

Virtual EMDR Therapy in Texas & In-Person in Aledo & Keller
Trauma-informed therapy for individuals ready to move beyond anxiety, overwhelm, and patterns that keep repeating.

If you’ve tried to work through it on your own—or even in therapy before—but still feel stuck,
your nervous system may need a different approach.

I provide structured, trauma-focused therapy using EMDR and attachment-based work
to help you experience real, lasting change.

Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, reactive, or exhausted from holding everything together. Therapy is designed to help you move from insight into meaningful change.

About me...
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor providing trauma-informed therapy for adults in
Keller and Aledo, Texas, as well as virtual therapy across the state.
I specialize in working with individuals who feel stuck in patterns they can’t think their way out of—ongoing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship triggers, or the lasting impact of past experiences.

My Approach
Therapy with me is structured, steady, and intentionally paced.
We don’t rush into the hardest parts. Instead, we begin by creating stability and safety, then move forward in a way your nervous system can tolerate.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and includes training in EMDR, Natural Lifemanship, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). I also approach therapy through an attachment-focused lens as an Attachment Specialist, helping you understand how early experiences continue to shape current patterns.
This allows us to move beyond insight and into real change—reducing reactivity, increasing regulation, and creating more clarity in your life and relationships.

What Clients Often Experience
• Anxiety that doesn’t fully go away
• Emotional reactions that feel disproportionate
• Repeating relationship patterns
• A sense of being “stuck,” even with insight
Over time, many begin to experience:
• Greater emotional steadiness
• Fewer intense reactions
• Increased clarity and confidence
• A stronger sense of control and presence

Court-Involved & Structured Work
In addition to trauma-focused therapy, I provide court-ordered counseling services.
This work requires clear expectations, structure, and professional boundaries. I maintain consistent documentation and a clinically sound approach when therapy intersects with legal or co-parenting dynamics.
Policies....
Private-Pay Practice
KLW Counseling operates as a private-pay practice. This allows therapy to remain confidential, flexible, and tailored to your individual needs—without required diagnoses, session limits, or restrictions from insurance providers.
Fees vary based on the type of service provided, including individual therapy, EMDR, and court-involved counseling. Fee information is discussed directly prior to scheduling to ensure clarity and appropriate fit.
If you have out-of-network benefits, a monthly superbill can be provided upon request for potential reimbursement.
EMDR Intensives
In addition to standard therapy sessions, limited 4-hour EMDR intensive sessions are available for clients who would benefit from extended, focused trauma processing work. Intensives allow for deeper therapeutic momentum while maintaining a carefully paced, trauma-informed approach.
Fee: $1,200 per 4-hour intensive session.
Intensives are scheduled on a limited basis and are offered following an initial intake session to determine clinical appropriateness. Please contact the office directly to discuss availability.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service and may be made by debit, credit, HSA, or cash through the secure client portal.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Missed sessions or late cancellations will be charged the full session fee.
Consistency is an important part of trauma-informed care, and this policy helps protect dedicated time for all clients.
Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather or school closures (Aledo ISD), in-person sessions will transition to secure telehealth for that timeframe. A link will be sent prior to your scheduled session.
